General Terms & Conditions
Our terms and conditions of purchase may change from time to time, which is why we kindly ask you to read them thoroughly in every instance before placing your order.
When you approve your purchase with us, you must also approve our terms and conditions of purchase. The purchase is completed when you have received the order confirmation, and it is your responsibility to make sure that any information you have submitted to us – name, email address and postal address – is correct. You must be 18 years of age (or age 16 with the consent of a guardian), to shop in our online shop.
We ship to all countries that are members of the EU, except Malta. We do not ship to Switzerland. Please note, we do not ship to the Canary Islands nor to non-European overseas territories.
By placing an order, you approve of our terms and conditions and agree to comply with this Agreement in its entirety. The terms and conditions and/or any part of this Agreement that deviate from mandatory law is without effect to the extent that the incident is not in the favour of the customer. This provision applies only if the customer is a private individual and if the purchase relates to private consumption.
You have two payment options in our online shop: card or gift card.
In cooperation with Klarna Bank AB (plc), Sveavägen 46, SE-111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer invoicing, card payment and Klarna account. For secure payment with a gift card, we cooperate with Retain24 Sverige AB, Snickarbacken 2, SE-111 39 Stockholm, Sweden.
For payment by card, you can choose whether to pay with a European Visa card or Mastercard. The amount is reserved at the time of booking, but it is not debited your account until the product has been packed and sent.
The payment will be processed by Klarna, which is a reliable electronic payments partner for Visa and Mastercard. Klarna gives you the same guarantees and peace of mind that you have when you buy something in a physical shop. The payment pages are secured with SSL, and all card details are encrypted. This means that no one can read your credit card number, name or address when the information is sent over the internet.

This is where you find further details about Klarna and this is where you can read their terms and conditions of use. The use of such data is governed by current personal data legislation and by Klarna’s privacy statement.
In order to be able to use Klarna’s payment options, we must share some of your data with Klarna. This will only occur if you select Klarna as the payment method. Klarna uses the data to determine whether you qualify to use their payment methods. The data used include name, address, email address, telephone number, payment history and ordering information, such as payment method, type of freight, ordering details and similar.
The use of such data is governed by current personal data legislation and by Klarna’s privacy statement.
If you have a Junkyard gift card, you may use it by entering the 16-digit code and the 5-digit PIN code at checkout. The PIN code is found by scraping the back of the card.
Discount codes are temporary offers which cannot be combined with other discount codes or offers. The applicable conditions and rates for the various discount codes are communicated at the site where customers gain access to the discount code. In the event of unauthorised use of discount codes, Junkyard reserves the right to cancel the purchase.
The value of the discount code is dispersed among the products in your order if they are not calculated for one or more specific products in your order. In the event of any returns, a proportionate value will be deducted from the value of your refund. The discount is non-refundable and it is not possible to re-use the code for returning the products.
Right of Cancellation
You have the right to cancel the purchase at any time within fourteen (14) days without citing any reason for doing so. The cancellation period begins from the date on which you receive your order. The simplest way to make use of the cancellation period is to return the products to us by using the enclosed prepaid return address label. Fill it in and enclose the cancellation form with your return parcel and return it to us. The cancellation form is found here.
Information about how to return products by ordinary mail is found on the return note enclosed in the package. To comply with the cancellation period, it is sufficient if you notify us that you have decided to withdraw from the purchase before the expiry of the cancellation period.
The right of cancellation does not apply to sealed hygienic articles, such as underwear/swimwear, if the seal is broken.
You get a full refund if you return your purchase within thirty (30) days from the date on which you place the order. See the procedure under Return. You, the consumer, have the right to cancel the purchase if the order is delayed. If something causes the delivery of your products to be delayed, we will contact you and specify a new delivery date. In this instance, you can choose to wait for the products or cancel the purchase.If you change your mind after the package has been dispatched by us, you must pick up the package from the delivery point and return the product in the shop or send it back to us.
All our orders are sent immediately to our e-commerce warehouse which means that it is unfortunately not possible to change/cancel an order after it has been placed.
Freight & Delivery
The normal delivery time is 1–6 workdays. We do not have a minimum order amount. Due to heavy order influx during sales periods and holiday seasons, we reserve the right to prolong the delivery time.
At present, we have the following delivery options in our online shop:
- UPS home delivery: EUR 7.95: the package is delivered to the address you entered at checkout
- UPS access point: EUR 5.95: the package is delivered to a UPS access point
If you were logged in, or if you set up a user account with us when you placed your order, you can trace your order on My pages. By clicking the consignment number, you can see where your package is located. If you change your address or if you implement temporary mail forwarding, you are responsible for updating your customer information when you place an order with us.
Regarding non-delivered and unclaimed orders with delivery to delivery point and/or home delivery: For delivery to a UPS access point, your order will be available for ten (10) days before being sent back to our warehouse. Unclaimed orders, home delivery orders that are not delivered due to a lack of information/communication from a customer concerning the delivery date/time will be charged a fee of EUR 9.95 to cover the cost of return carriage to our premises. Orders that are unclaimed and/or home delivery orders described above that are automatically returned to us are normally not covered by the right of cancellation
You have thirty (30) whole days of open purchase!
You must hand in your return at the site where you picked up your order or at another UPS access point. The return freight charge is EUR 5.95.
If you wish to return a product to our online shop, your return will be registered, and you must place a new order yourself in order to have a different size or product sent to you.
To send your return back to the online shop, the return must first be registered online by making use of the return link specified on the receipt email for your order. Use the return address label enclosed in your package. All returns to our online shop are charged return freight of EUR 5.95. If the return is due to an error for which we are responsible, we will obviously cover the return freight charge.
It may take up to 20 workdays to process a return back to our warehouse. For products returned to our online shop, the return amount will be refunded to the account which you used for payment. You are allowed to inspect products carefully, but labels or tags must not be removed and seals on underwear and swimwear packets must not be broken.
Right to Repair or Replacement
The right to repair or replacement is in effect for three (3) years. The right to repair or replacement does not apply to ordinary wear and tear. If a fault or deficiency is detected, the consumer must notify the seller within a reasonable period of time after discovering or after he/she should have discovered the fault/deficiency, that he/she intends to invoke the right to repair or replacement. Nevertheless, the complaint period is not less than two (2) months from the time when the consumer discovered the fault/deficiency. In the event that the item or the item’s components are intended to last significantly longer when subjected to ordinary use, the complaint period is five (5) years. If the consumer fails to file a complaint in time, he/she forfeits the right to invoke the right. A fault/deficiency that appears within six (6) months after the consumer took possession of the item (normal date of delivery) must be presumed to have existed at the transfer of risk.
If you wish to file a complaint concerning a product by sending it to our online shop, we would appreciate it if you would please send us a photo by email to [email protected] first. This way, you are released from returning a product that we might discard anyway. This will both be better for the environment and speed up the payment of any refund we owe you due to your complaint.
Junkyard reserves the right to reject an invalid complaint if it has been determined that the product is not defective under current legislation.
All complaints concerning skateboards, longboards and snowboards will be assessed by each supplier. Cracked skateboards or longboards are generally not considered an approved complaint.
For complaints filed with our online shop, the return amount will be refunded to the account which you used for payment. This will occur within 2–7 workdays after we have received and registered your return. You will receive an email when we have received your return, which usually takes one week. For complaints, we obviously do not deduct the return freight charge when we refund your purchase.
Damage Incurred in Transit
If the package has been damaged in transit, contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that the colours you see on your screen depict the garment colours with complete accuracy. The colours are depicted according to user settings.
Prices & Charges
All prices are in euro (EUR) including VAT according to the current tax rate. VAT is charged at a rate of 25% when applicable.
The prices do not include freight or payment charges. A campaign applies to the product’s ordinary price and cannot be combined with other campaigns or discounts.
Unfortunately, we are unable to subsequently register discounts for orders that have already been placed in our online shop.
If Junkyard experiences a force majeure situation, i.e. if we or our business partners are subject to war, warlike incidents, revolution, insurrection, the exercise of authority, strike, lockout, blockade, natural disaster, fire, disruption of transportation, delivery ban or similar incidents, Junkyard has the right to cease to honour its obligations vis-à–vis its customers for up to two (2) months. After this period, both parties have the right to repudiate the contract without being liable in damages.
Reservation for cancellation
Junkyard.com reserves the right to repudiate the contract if the customer acts in ‘bad faith’ due to inaccuracies which the customer knew of or should have perceived as incorrect information about price or quantity on junkyard.com. We reserve the right to cancel orders intended for resale. In instances where the right to cancel a purchase is asserted, the customer does not have the right to compensation in damages from Junkyard.
